Single Gay Men – April 4-5, 2009
Choosing the right partner is life’s most important decision – one best not left to chance.

If you're single, you may be gun-shy from your previous experiences, having had a hard time with relationships so far. You may be starting for the first time. Or you may be starting over because of life's unexpected twists and turns. You may fear getting involved with the wrong people and you may be afraid of getting hurt again. Your experience is common. In this workshop we help you gain a clearer understanding of relationships, a better understanding of yourself, and a better understanding of your history so dating and mating is less a "crap shoot" and becomes more satisfying and successful.

Gays and Lesbians – May 30-31, 2009

In our transitory society, the need for a secure primary relationship is enhanced, and our bonding and attachment skills are challenged by societal attitudes and personal experiences.

All couples do well during easy times, but the measure of successful couples is how well they get through the inevitable hard times. Perhaps you’d like better ways to work through the recurring hard spots. Maybe you’d like your partner to understand you better, or you’d like to better understand your partner. Usually a clearer, kinder, more accurate understanding of your self and your partner will improve the mood in your relationship, and will give you a much better chance for getting the love and happiness you want.

These seminars are useful to new couples who want to ensure the on-going success of their relationship; for couples who’ve been together a while and would like to enhance and/or “sparkup” the relationship a little; and for couples who are really struggling.

Most couples leave these seminars with:

  • Improved communication skills
  • Reduced frustration and blame
  • Specific skills for increasing happiness
  • Deeper understanding of the recurring struggles
  • Increased compassion for themselves and their partners
  • Increased optimism
  • Improved skills for working through the hard times
  • Better skills for getting what they want
  • Skills for restoring and increasing romance
